ABOUT Jesse

Jesse M Hartman

Jesse’s entrepreneurial spirit started very early, breading dogs, writing, and selling his first publication before first grade.

At age 20 he spent a year studying at l’université Paul Valerie in Montpellier France, where he met his wife, who was from Colombia, also studying abroad.

After receiving his undergraduate from the University of Washington he started his first business which quickly failed leaving him with a mountain of credit card debt.

He was told by a financial advisor it would take 10 years to get out of debt. He refused to accept that and created his own plan. Within a few years he was debt free, owned his own home, and was on his way to buying his first rental property. He wrote A Journey to Financial Well-Being, and created programs to help others gain life clarity and financial well-being.

During this time, he spent a decade in multifamily real estate where he continued to learn how to develop wealth through real estate.

He was promoted, becoming a corporate learning and development trainer.

After a few exciting years flying the friendly skies, he was invited to run The Wellness Institute, the company his father and stepmother started, providing continuing education to mental health professionals around the globe.

In 2020 he transitioned out of his leadership role and served as co-chair of the Wellness Advisory Board during Covid when he helped them sell their business and retire.

In 2020 he began developing new programs around life clarity and financial alignment. He has since taught over 150 people from 20 countries including individual and group coaching programs.

In 2022 he began developing corporate programs around Leadership Development. He continues to offer Leadership programs and coaching to corporate clients, entrepreneurs, and individuals.

He lives near Seattle, Washington with his wife of 20 years, loves to travel, play tennis, and is an avid photographer.

A Journey to Financial Well-Being, published in 2008, offers a look into the financial journey of Jesse Hartman.

In his early 20s he maxed out over 10 credit cards to invest in a business which he quickly learned was not the financial opportunity he thought it would be.

Over $50,000 in debt and with little business income he met with a financial advisor who provided a beautiful leather binder with a 10-year plan to get to $0.

Jesse wasn’t willing to give up the next 10 years of his life so he set out to make his own plan.

In a few short years, he was debt-free, had purchased his first home, and spent a month vacationing in South America.
